Hyatt Hotel Rewards Credit Card Offering Free Nights – and we are too!

I’m always looking for ways to earn free nights or extras with hotel and airline loyalty accounts. A recent consumer survey that 60% of people surveyed who have a loyalty card don’t know what they’re getting, or only somewhat understand their program. Not only that, but almost half of respondents (45%) who are not members of a loyalty rewards program say that it is too complicated or it is too difficult to redeem the points.** Hyatt Hotels and Resorts recently announced the first ever Hyatt credit card with Chase Card Services – and they’re offering two free nights the first time you use your Hyatt credit card. This is unique among hotel reward cards as there is no point translation required or property restrictions associated with the two nights.

The Hyatt Card offers 3 Hyatt Gold Passport points for every $1 spent at any Hyatt property, 1 point for every $1 spent on purchases elsewhere and there are no limits on the number of points that can be earned.  Redemptions are simple and easy, with no blackout dates, no limit on available standard rooms and no resort fees.   The Hyatt Card also offers no foreign exchange fees when making international purchases on the card, and Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum membership for the life of the card.

To help get the word out about the new card, Hyatt is offering two nights anytime anywhere to one TravelingMamas.com reader.  Are you looking to do a family getaway this holiday season – or just want a couple of nights at a great Hyatt property? These two nights could come in very handy!

Both of us signed up for the Hyatt Chase Visa, so we’ll be staying 4 nights at the Park Hyatt Hotel, but it would be great if we could take on 2 more nights to allow us to stay the entire time in that hotel! It’d be like that film Lost in Translation except without all of the murky dialogue and themes of underlying infidelity.
