In 2009, TravelingMamas.com was named as a Nielsen Power Moms Site. As the Original Group Travel Blogs for Moms, by Moms, we are proud to have been the launch pad for many mamas to skyrocket their travel writing and social media influencer careers.

Lisa A. Tucker
Contributing Writer
Lisa Tucker has been travel writing since her daughters were tiny; some of their first words were “passport” and “mango smoothie.” She loves the power of travel to bring families together as they encounter the thrills (think parasailing in Belize) and chills (like getting caught in a massive earthquake in Chile) of navigating the world. Lisa’s favorite city is Paris; her favorite beach destination is Block Island; and her favorite rural getaway is the Val d’Orcia in southern Tuscany. She is up for any and all adventures: she has sea kayaked off southern Baja, white water rafted in Patagonia, hot air ballooned over Phoenix, and boondocked in her teeny tiny trailer all over the country. Now that her daughters are grown, you’re most likely to see her in flight with her beloved husband, Adam, along with their black pug, Toby, who knows the word for “treat” in several languages.
