Spring at EPCOT: A First Taste of the Flower & Garden Festival 2026
Topiaries, outdoor kitchens, and garden strolls during one of EPCOT’s most beautiful seasons, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2026.
While this festival technically runs for months, I prefer to experience it slowly, returning again and again to wander through the gardens, admire the topiaries, and sample just a few dishes from the outdoor kitchens each visit.
This isn’t a “see absolutely everything in one day” type of event. It’s more like a seasonal celebration that unfolds over time.
Here are a few of the things I’ve loved so far during the 2026 festival.

The Topiaries Are the Stars of the Festival
One of the simplest joys of the festival is just walking the park and discovering the topiary displays.
Hundreds of thousands of plants are shaped into beloved characters and scenes, and each year Disney’s horticulture team somehow manages to make them feel both whimsical and artistic.
Some of my favorites this season include:
• Phineas and Ferb
• Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Chip ’n’ Dale
• Moana with Maui, Pua, and Heihei
• Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy
• Beauty and the Beast
You’ll find these living sculptures scattered throughout World Celebration, World Showcase, World Nature, and World Discovery, which makes exploring the park feel like a botanical treasure hunt.

Gardens, Tours, and Hidden Experiences
Beyond the topiaries, there are also themed gardens and educational displays throughout the park.
One experience I recommend is the English Tea Garden Tour presented by Twinings in the United Kingdom Pavilion.
Guests can choose between self-guided exploration or scheduled guided tours, both offered complimentary during the festival. It’s a relaxing and surprisingly educational stop while strolling through World Showcase.
Other festival activities include:
• Scavenger hunts (maps available for purchase)
• A butterfly garden research area
• Garden-themed play zones for children
• Limited-edition festival merchandise
Even longtime EPCOT visitors often discover something new during the festival.

Garden Rocks Concert Series
Every evening during the festival, the Garden Rocks Concert Series brings live music to the park.
The lineup rotates throughout the season, and this year I’m particularly excited about seeing:
• Air Supply
• Billy Ocean
• Information Society
• A Flock of Seagulls
• Rick Springfield
These performances take place nightly at the America Gardens Theatre and are included with park admission (though dining packages are available for guaranteed seating).
The Garden Graze Food Challenge
Food festivals are practically an EPCOT tradition, and the Garden Graze offers a fun way to sample the menu.
Here’s how it works:
- Pick up a Festival Passport
- Purchase five Garden Graze menu items
- Get your passport stamped at each purchase
- Redeem your completed passport for a complimentary Pineapple Promenade treat served in a collectible festival glass
It’s a delicious scavenger hunt.
What I’ve Tried So Far
The festival features 20 outdoor kitchens, and I’ve only just begun tasting my way through them.
Here are two highlights from my early visits.
Yacht Grub
My first stop was Yacht Grub, where I tried the Trio of Dips and Chips.
House-made potato chips are served with:
• whipped feta with candied lemon
• caramelized onion dip with caviar (yes, caviar!)
• pimento cheese with pickles
At just $6, it’s one of the better values at the festival.
I paired it with the Limoncello-Basil Sparkling Cocktail, made with sparkling wine, club soda, and limoncello garnished with fresh basil.
As someone who loves a good limoncello spritz, this was an easy “yes” for me.

Fleur de Lys (France Pavilion)
Over in the France Pavilion, I sampled the Canard Confit with rosemary mushroom sauce and herbed polenta cake.
It may not have been the prettiest dish for photos, but the flavor was incredible.
Naturally, I paired it with the La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush made with vodka, Grey Goose L’Orange, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, and cranberry juices.
Let’s just say… oui oui, s’il vous plaît.

What’s On My Must-Try List Next
There are still plenty of items on my list for future visits.
A few that have caught my attention:
Nectar (near The Land)
• Tuna poke bowl
Beach Grub
• Grilled street corn on the cob
EPCOT Farmers Feast (limited through May 10)
• Grilled asparagus with pancetta, spring peas, frisée, and a soft-poached egg
• Scallop with spring pea risotto
• Hibiscus lemonade cocktail with Islamorada Hibiscus Gin
The Honey Bee-stro
• Crispy chicken with honey-bacon cornbread waffle
• Frozen peach cobbler cocktail
Lan Yuan (China Pavilion)
• Cheesy crab wontons
• Sha Cha beef bao bun
• Pan-fried vegetable dumplings
Mexico Pavilion
• Chilaquiles con carne
• Festival margaritas
Trowel & Trellis
• Chocolate mousse terrarium (high on my list)
A Pineapple Treat I Won’t Miss
I’m also a longtime fan of DOLE Whip, so Pineapple Promenade immediately caught my attention.
The Pineapple-Mango Cream Float (DOLE Whip Pineapple topped with Somrus Mango Cream Liqueur) is definitely happening on a future visit.
A Louisiana Touch in the American Pavilion
Near the American Adventure, Magnolia Terrace is leaning into Louisiana flavors this year with items like:
• Blackened Shrimp Po’Boy
• Grilled Gulf oysters
• Spicy chicken gumbo
• Bananas Foster bread pudding
As someone who grew up in Louisiana, I may skip these in favor of more international bites… but I’m definitely curious about the spiced rum cocktail inspired by a Hurricane.
More Than a Festival
What I love most about EPCOT isn’t just the festivals.
Yes, the food booths and concerts are fun.
But what makes the park special is that every pavilion hides small educational experiences – cultural exhibits, films, gardens, and interactive displays that many guests walk right past.
The Flower & Garden Festival simply adds another layer of beauty to an already fascinating place.
And if you ask me, there’s no better way to spend a spring afternoon than wandering EPCOT with a cocktail in hand, admiring flowers shaped like your favorite childhood characters.
