By Bob Knorpp A suitcase that carried moon rocks back to earth?!? Just try to top that! Yet that’s the territory Zero Halliburton can claim. On the evening of June 16th, Zero Halliburton — the original maker of industrial strength aluminum travel cases — launched their first US flagship location at 300 Madison Avenue in…
Tomorrow, Lonely Planet releases their highly-anticipated title Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2012 (affiliate link). I always enjoy reading this annual volume that highlights some the best places to visit and things to do for the coming year. The best part? I love the quirkiness of many of the lists. They reflect the humor and…
It is a total pain in the behind to try and put bulky winter clothing on baby. And then, baby won’t even fit comfortably in her stroller or carrier with all those thick coats on. PoshPouch premium carrier cover is the answer to this common grievance. The soft faux suede is wind- and water-resistant, while…
Dontcha just HATE that hotels only have one plug that is available. Sometimes reaching that one particular plug turns you into a contortionist, stretching and possibly pulling a muscle, just to get the prongs in the outlet. What if you want to charge more than one electronic item? No longer does a traveler have to…
Bold. Beautiful. Balanced. Today Nokia announced the Lumia 900, one of the most anticipated smartphone debuts at CES 2012. There has been buzz via a few online leaks over the past few weeks and in the even in the press room I overheard a few conversations regarding Nokia’s US announcements. Personally I’m very excited about…
The Traveling Mamas are asking families around the US to Boycott the Staycation. What is a staycation? It is an act of taking your vacation at home. Pack the makeup essentials when traveling.
To avoid packing my entire make-up bag, I make sure I have the bare essentials – Moisturizer and make up removing facial wipes. It’s much easier than packing your entire facial cleansing system since we know traveling with liquids in you carry on can be problematic at airports. Secondly, I tend to travel with a small compact with multi-color eyeshadows that can double as blush (Bobbi Brown’s Color Brick) is my favorite. Happy travels!
Ziploc bags (in case of leaks or powder breakage) and makeup palettes (to save space). They make makeup packing so much easier!
Fill up smaller travel sized bottles with all the beauty products you take on vacation – saves a lot of room!
I always make sure to keep my face moisturized if I’m traveling by air and I keep the makeup to a minimum.

make sure liquids are sealed tight!
My makeup tip is to ask the sales assistant when you buy a product to give you a couple of small empty sample pots and then fill them with things like foundation, moisturiser, when you travel to avoid packing the whole bottle.
I just try to bring the products I know I’m going to use .
Make sure you have a makeup bag for everything you need.
