I was browsing through Overstock.com this morning and came across this interesting travel accessory for toddler car seats – a strap that attaches a toddler car seat to your rolling carry-on suitcase. First, whoever came up with this idea is very creative and innovative. And at around $13 in price, it seems pretty affordable. The pictures in the…
It is a total pain in the behind to try and put bulky winter clothing on baby. And then, baby won’t even fit comfortably in her stroller or carrier with all those thick coats on. PoshPouch premium carrier cover is the answer to this common grievance. The soft faux suede is wind- and water-resistant, while…
I’ve been searching for the perfect camera bag that is not only functional for my gear, but also stylish. I’m sooooo over the “bonus camera gear” bag that’s been included with my past two camera purchases. They were black and “blah” and bulky too. Sure, they protect and hold a good bit, but a mama…
CES is like Mardi Gras for techies. It is unlike any event I’ve ever attended and I’m currently only halfway through my time here. I’ll admit, I was more nervous about attending CES than I was about traveling around the UK by myself. There are tons of people here. There are long lines to get…
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and while I don’t have breast cancer, I do have numerous relatives and friends who have had this particular disease wreak havoc with their lives. If you know of someone who has been touched by cancer, take a moment right now to think about them and send positive vibes their way. You…
Women can’t do anything from water.org on Vimeo. When we travel with our families, we don’t give a second thought about handing a drink of water to our children when they are thirsty. Airports provide drinking fountains for those of us who don’t want to purchase water and most airlines provide water free of charge….

Pack the makeup essentials when traveling.
To avoid packing my entire make-up bag, I make sure I have the bare essentials – Moisturizer and make up removing facial wipes. It’s much easier than packing your entire facial cleansing system since we know traveling with liquids in you carry on can be problematic at airports. Secondly, I tend to travel with a small compact with multi-color eyeshadows that can double as blush (Bobbi Brown’s Color Brick) is my favorite. Happy travels!
Ziploc bags (in case of leaks or powder breakage) and makeup palettes (to save space). They make makeup packing so much easier!
Fill up smaller travel sized bottles with all the beauty products you take on vacation – saves a lot of room!
I always make sure to keep my face moisturized if I’m traveling by air and I keep the makeup to a minimum.

make sure liquids are sealed tight!
My makeup tip is to ask the sales assistant when you buy a product to give you a couple of small empty sample pots and then fill them with things like foundation, moisturiser, when you travel to avoid packing the whole bottle.
I just try to bring the products I know I’m going to use .
Make sure you have a makeup bag for everything you need.
