St. Francisville is one of those places for me.
If circumstances were different (my husband has to live near an East Coast company base) I would be back in Louisiana, and very likely back in St. Francisville. My daughter and grandkids live nearby now. I lived here for a season of my life. And some of my deepest memories are rooted just down the road at the dream house my parents’ built.
It’s a town tied to family, reflection, and comfort, which is exactly why it makes such a perfect weekend getaway in Louisiana.

Local tip: Audubon Market is a gem for Louisiana-made products, local seafood, and a hot deli, perfect for picnic supplies or an easy night in.
