Disney Parks to bring magic to cities in US and Canada
Walt Disney World has a special team traveling around the US and Canada to bring pixie dust to select cities. This interactive experience is part of Disney Park’s “Let the Memories Begin” campaign that launched earlier this year. If you’re a Disney fan or just want a bit of magic in your life, then find a city on the tour close that’s close to you and participate in an interactive Disney photo experience.
Knowing that Disney is involved, you can probably expect a few magical surprises in each city on the tour, but that’s just a guess. A recent nationwide survey of U.S. and Canadian families found that vacation memories hold a special place in family history. Nine out of 10 parents said they planned vacations with the hope that they would result in a lasting family memory. In 2011, Disney Parks launched “Let the Memories Begin,” a year-long celebration of the family vacation memories created in Disney theme parks every day.
For my family, we’ve been making some serious memories with Disney Parks this year. So far I’ve been to Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts three times and I’m hopping on a Southwest flight this Saturday with my son to experience Star Wars Weekends and Disney’s Hollywood Studios newly reopened Star Tours. All together I’ve visited more times in 2011 than I have all together the years before.
As a parent, I’ve always captured our travel memories in photos, where possible. Now that the kids are older, it’s harder. Below is a rare photo with both of my children together, which was during a school break a few weeks ago.
