Il Divo Giveaway
The holiday season is upon us in full swing with many of you preparing for holiday travels to see out-of-town family, or you may have family coming to your homes. I just love decorating the tree with the kids for this time of year. We always bake cookies and make hot chocolate while placing the ornaments here and there.
When we travel, we usually purchase a Christmas ornament during our family trip to place on our tree. It is so much fun to pick up one of those decorative objects out of the box and remember the particular trip the ornament represents.
Of course, while decorating, we listen to festive music of the season. When we unpack the box with the sleigh bells, the kids scramble to see who can shake them first. This year, I downloaded the free songs that were available on Oprah.com, which included “O Holy Night” by Il Divo. The free downloads have expired, but luckily I also had on hand copies of Il Divo’s The Christmas Collection and their new release, The Promise. These good looking international singers really know how to use their talents to put a romantic twist on popular and classic songs.
TravelingMamas.com and Il Divo want you to be able to enjoy the holiday season with these two albums. These are both available on Amazon.com, but one lucky reader can win his or her own set. Just leave a comment telling us what your favorite holiday song is and we will pick a winner randomly. Contest ends Tues, Dec 9 at midnight. Winner will be announced on Winning Wednesday, Dec 10.
Traveling Mamas and their immediate family members are ineligible. Winner must claim prize within three days of contest or winner will forfeit prize.
Silent Night 🙂
Darn it. This is one contest I’d love to be able to enter. My favorite is “O Holy Night.” I saw Il Divo perform on the Today Show last year. Those hottie men could melt snow.
“O Holy Night” is beautiful.
White Christmas– Bing Crosby
Jingle Bell Rock!
“O Holy Night” I just heard it performed this afternoon, so lovely.
Silver Bells (I think that’s what it’s called). A friend was humming it, but neither of us can remember who sings the version we like. Or the words. Just how it sounds, haha..
Happy Holidays!
Hello! These men’s voices together are truly amazing. I remember seeing them on the Oprah Show when Simon Crowell introduced them! One of my favorite Christmas songs is “Do You Hear What I
Hear?” Please enter me in your fabulous giveaway drawing. Many thanks, Cindi
My fav holiday song is “It’s begining to look a lot like Christmas..” 😀
