ArtNight SpringHill Suites celebrates creativity

When I’m not writing, I’m painting. Before I travel, I always check to see what art exhibits are being featured at art museums and galleries. Throughout the month of September, guests at SpringHill Suites by Marriott can enjoy special art events at the hotels.

ArtNight SpringHill Suites is a program that supports the local artists in communities across the country. “Embracing the local art scene allows us to connect with our communities and helps make hotel stays more inspiring,” said Callette Nielsen, vice president and global brand manager for SpringHill Suites. “ArtNight takes the guest travel and discovery experience to another level.”

An example of ArtNight gallery events include:

SpringHill Suites Montreal, Canada: (September 15) Featuring artwork by students from Montreal-based art school and gallery, Galerie Synesthésie, will feature comic book art, paintings and drawings from students of all ages.

SpringHill Suites Las Vegas, NV: (September 13 – 27) Partnering with ThinkArt!, Las Vegas’ non-profit local art organization, the hotel will host art students from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, College of Southern Nevada and Clark County School District alongside several well-known local artists who will display a variety of art forms throughout the two-week period. On September 27 the event culminates with a gallery night complete with jazz and cocktails.
