Kids Love North Carolina Book Review and Giveaway
Born and raised here all my life, I can absolutely say the above title is 100% true. North Carolina is the state that if you want to take different types of scenic adventures then you have came to the right place. You have the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains on one end of the state and then the best family beaches on the other end of the state. It’s perfect for family travel and exploration.
Even though I have lived here all my life (except for one year in Tampa, Florida), I still haven’t been to all the destinations in this wonderful state. When I was contacted by Michele Zavatsky to review her and her husband George’s best selling book Kids Love North Carolina, I immediately jumped at the chance.
Michele and George take their two kid testers (her children) on several destinations throughout North Carolina. She gives their real life review of each of the places and gives you suggestions on different day trips to take that your kids will love! Each chapter includes the best kid-friendly interests, events going on at the destination, and her approved lodging and dining places. The book saves you so much time and lets you get down to business of planning your vacation or the perfect day trip.
One aspect that I really enjoyed about reading the book is that Michele guides you to places to visit for little or no charge (great for affordable travel). The book is catered to the age group of 2 to 15 so as you can tell, there is a destination for just about any child :). What are you waiting on? It’s time to Travel to NC!!

I live in North Carolina but have only been here for 3 years and haven’t had a chance to really explore the state. I’d like to win this book to help guide me around.

I live in North Carolina and have a 4 and 6 year old. We know a bunch of fun places in Greensboro, but need to find stuff in the rest of the state
I love the Kids Love North Carolina book. I heard about it on WBFJ radio and picked up a copy. Though I am a native of this state, I was surprised. There were places I had never heard about but also ones near and dear to me. I would encourage everyone to get this book. Being on a very tight budget, I love that this book offers options at every price point and many places are even free! I entered to win a copy because I am frequently loaning mine out to traveling friends. I need a replacement already!
Like you, I have lived in NC all my life except for a brief time in Tampa. No kidding! 🙂
