Carnival Celebrates Mother’s Day on the Carnival Magic

I don’t know how you celebrated Mother’s Day, but for me it was pretty special. I’ve been on the Carnival Magic cruise ship for her inaugural sailing, and I brought my mom and dad along. I was able to spend a very special day touring Florence, Italy. I enjoyed the day, but the evening onboard the Carnival Magic had a special touch just for mothers.

Before dinner, I treated Mom to a glass of bubbly and we toasted the moment, glad to experience this amazing Carnival Cruise Lines European cruise. Dinner was delicious and our wait staff was amazing, as they have been every night during our dinners at the Southern Lights Dining Room.  Carnival Cruise Lines have assigned dining times and tables, but also allow anytime dining if requested during your cruise booking. What I enjoy about assigned dining is that we have the same wait staff each night. This could be good or bad, but both times I’ve sailed with Carnival Cruise Lines, we’ve always had friendly and personable wait staff.

At the end of our meal on Mother’s Day, Carnival Cruise Lines and the Carnival Magic added a special touch during the dessert course. Every woman in the room was served a sweet surprise.
