I admit that I am a hoarder of travel-size products. My carry-on is in a perpetual state of being unpacked and re-packed. And, since I still haven’t completely learned the art of “packing light,” I’m often trying to stuff way too much into my rolling suitcase. So I have to have travel-size everything, both because…
I really hate all the germs people carry around and the TSA only allows me a certain size hand sanitizer on the plane. How can I get rid of all those icky things people carry around? Did you ever wonder how to kill all those yucky germs when traveling? No need to carry around an…
Last year I took my first ski lessons, thanks to SkiUtah.com. One thing I noticed about the fashion at the various ski resorts is that women want to look good both on and off the slopes. I had no idea what type of ski wear to pack for a cold weather destination. Keeping your feet…
During our whirlwind tour of New York City during Blogher, TravelingMamas.com had a chance to visit with the Hanes Comfort Crew and learn about organizing our socks and undies and getting the perfect fit for our personal mama support system (bras). The video included with our post gives you a behind the scenes look of what takes…
Spanx is a mama’s best friend, especially a Traveling Mama. These slimming undergarments smooth and shape the body to make us feel just a bit better when wearing a nice dress or trousers. Let’s face it, after baby, we don’t look the same and we look for every little thing that makes us looks slimmer….
I have yet to go to Apple’s Dark Side of mobile technology and have been sticking to my guns with my BlackBerry. My husband and son both have iPhones and love theirs, but I like to type with my fingernails (grin) and that’s just not something I can do with an iPhone. iPhone lovers rave about all…

Pack the makeup essentials when traveling.
To avoid packing my entire make-up bag, I make sure I have the bare essentials – Moisturizer and make up removing facial wipes. It’s much easier than packing your entire facial cleansing system since we know traveling with liquids in you carry on can be problematic at airports. Secondly, I tend to travel with a small compact with multi-color eyeshadows that can double as blush (Bobbi Brown’s Color Brick) is my favorite. Happy travels!
Ziploc bags (in case of leaks or powder breakage) and makeup palettes (to save space). They make makeup packing so much easier!
Fill up smaller travel sized bottles with all the beauty products you take on vacation – saves a lot of room!
I always make sure to keep my face moisturized if I’m traveling by air and I keep the makeup to a minimum.

make sure liquids are sealed tight!
My makeup tip is to ask the sales assistant when you buy a product to give you a couple of small empty sample pots and then fill them with things like foundation, moisturiser, when you travel to avoid packing the whole bottle.
I just try to bring the products I know I’m going to use .
Make sure you have a makeup bag for everything you need.
