I’m just a little jealous of this giveaway. My favorite seaside moment is a combination of summers spent at the Jersey Shore. I loved Seaside Heights as a little girl.
I used to love going to Gulfshores with the family every summer. Now that we’ve all grown up, we can’t seem to find a weekend where everyone is available. 🙁 I miss those family trips!
My favorite seaside moment was sitting with my two best friends. We were at Capitola Beach eating salt water till we were sick. This was two weeks ago! 🙂

My favorite moments spent seaside are during n’oreasters, hurricanes and other storms. There is something so beautiful about sitting looking at the ocean’s fury, safe from the storm. I spend every morning thanking my good fortune to live where I do and being able to spend time by the sea.

DH and I once played hooky from work and drove down to San Diego. We parked at the Hotel Del Coronado and just hung out at the beach. It wasn’t cold out, but it wasn’t summer either, and the place was absolutely desolate. I wish all beach visits could be that private.

When our kids were small, we took them to Florida’s east coast to play on the beach and in the ocean. It was wonderful! Living in the midwest, I never tire of visiting either coast.
Unfortunately I have never been to the ocean, but I have been to the lake quite a bit. My favorite moment is sitting in the sand watching my kids splash around in the water. The pure joy on their faces makes me feel like the greatest mom ever!
I remember lounging out on Alki Beach in Seattle with my dad, stepmom and brother.

Family time at the beach when the whole fam went together and spent the week in a beach house playing games, having fun
The first time I went to the beach. I don’t remember if I was eleven or twelve; my birthday is in the middle of summer, so it could have been either. I couldn’t swim very well, but I had an awesome time playing in the water close to shore.
When hubby and I went on our first vacation together and he found me a heart shaped shell on the beach.
Thanks for the chance.

Seeing the sunset over the ocean in Dubai…gorgeous.
Riding my cruise bike to the beach, putting my colorful towel on the soft warm sand, listen the waves and read a god fiction novel.
My favorite beach memory is when my husband came home from his deployment and we took our 9 month old daughter to the ocean for the first time as a family. It was the first ever family vacation we had and we all had so much fun. My baby girl laughed at the waves hitting her feet and cried when it hit her above the knees. Her favorite was eating sand. It is a memory I will hold onto forever!
My fave (sorry never have been by a sea) but ocean side moment was in Boston watching dolphins and whales swim. It was breath taking!
When we lived in Panama City Beach, at sunset we’d get out of the water (jellyfish) and watch the dolphins before going home for the evening. Beautiful.

One of my favorite seaside memories involves making sand castles at the beach, for my first time in the Atlantic Ocean circa the early 90’s.
I met one of my oldest friends when I was 10 and our families had houses by each other on the beach. There weren’t a lot of other kids so we spent a lot of time together that week. We exchanged addresses and became pen pals. She was in my wedding and we are still friends!

My favorite seaside memory –one summer day we went to the boardwalk and my Dad gave us each $5 to play games and buy candy I walked up and down trying to decide what to spend my money on and I saw a shack at the end of the pier that said bait. My brother explained they sell baby fish for the fishermen to use to catch big fish. So I bought $5 worth of bait fish then walked down to the shore and set them free.

I have no sea side memories as I’ve never been to the ocean
My favorite seaside moment was watching my kids see it for the first time this summer!
The moment I remember most is the first time I saw the ocean. We had previously lived inland in Ohio but moved to California. The visit to the ocean was one of our first destinations after we got settled in and I remember being sick the next day from accidentally swallowing (probably bacteria filled) sea water 😀 Its still a happy memory for me though
