Fall Is In the Air at Chetola Resort in NC
It is officially October and that means beautiful colors are beginning to embark over the Mountains of NC. I was able to experience this first hand this past weekend at the beautiful Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC.
Chetola Resort is home to 87 beautiful acres that will leave you amazed. There are many choices to choose from when choosing your accomodations at Chetola, they are: Chetola Lodge, Chetola Condominiums or The Bob Timberlake Inn. We were guests at the Chetola Condominiums this past wonderful fall weekend.
As soon as we opened the door, we were in love at first sight!
We stayed in the 1 Bedroom Condominium which consisted of a king bed, full bath, washer/dyer, full kitchen, queen size sleeper sofa, and a fireplace. (approx. 885 sq ft.) You can choose from a 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedroom option. The country decor made us all smile and gave us that warm hearted feeling. Wood features could be found throughout the house.
The living room was very spacious and detailed with rustic furnishings. The fireplace added a special spark that made the room even more cozier and inviting.
The kitchen was well equipped with all your dishes, pots and pans, utensils, and appliances needed for a special meal you would like to create for your family.
The bathroom was spacious. You did not have to worry about tight quarters and it was decorated with black bears that just made you feel welcome into the home.
Finishing our tour of the inside area with the bedroom. The bed was amazingly super soft. You laid your head down and you did not move the rest of the night! The decor in the bedroom went right along with the country theme throughout the house. There was a television as well in the bedroom complete with a DVD player.
Each morning and evening, we would take a walk onto the balcony to feel the cool fresh crisp air and take in the beautiful scenery surrounding the condominiums. The fall foliage is just now beginning to take place in the area as you will see the yellows and reds peeping through all the green. It was beautiful beyond words. I cannot wait to see the full effect of all the colors take place throughout the month of October!

Mid-month is usually when the fall colors begin to take control from all the green and give you a breathtaking view. I love how Chetola has the balconies included in their condominiums so you can sit outside and take the view in from morning till night. The scenery is just amazing all around the 87 acre property.
