Tales of the Cocktail is one of those events that is still unknown to many, but has a cult following in the cocktail afficianado circles.

This is my third year to attend, and while I am no spirits expert, I do enjoy the discovery of new cocktails, new spirits on the market, and where the best mixologists are from.

Tales isn’t just about tasting rooms, but provides education on the history of various cocktails and who invented them.

The seminars, spirited dinners, tours, and cocktail conversations make this event legendary to cocktail enthusiasts and brings in visitors of all demographics and from all over the world.

If you didn’t make it this year, you can save the date for next year, the 10th anniversary July 25-29, 2012 in New Orleans, LA.
