iKnow Living Languages
I’m so tired of carrying around all these items for language translators. I have a book, an electronic gadget, and even that immersion language program that is advertised everywhere.
This is a common Festivus Grievance. But thankfully, Random House has stepped up to the plate and offers an affordable and convenient translator – iKnow Living Languages.
What makes this product so special?
- Retails for $13.95US, which makes it pocketbook friendly.
- Works with any video-compatible iPod Nano, Touch, Classic, and iPhone.
- Currently offered in seven different languages.
- Has more than 1500 essential words and phrases.
We’re giving away three iKnow Living Languages in honor of Festivus. Congratulations to @nerdseyeview, @mommosttraveled, and Jason. You’ll each get one copy of an iKnow language. Now you won’t have to worry about to ask for a restroom in a foreign language. Happy Festivus!
I majored in Spanish and am so glad I did. I would be interested in trying out these translators to see if they measure up.

Did you see my recent post about the uSpeak2 system?
This is so cool! I think it is great when people try to learn a few words of the local language.
