Free Dining is back at Disney World

Better late than never!

Free dining is back for most stays August 15 through October 2, 2010.

This year free dining is a little different with 2 notable changes-

Guests booking a value resort will receive the Quick-Service Plan

  • 2 Quick-Service Meals
  • 2 Snacks
  • Plus one Resort Refillable Drink Mug per person

Moderate, Deluxe and Villa guests receive the regular Disney Dining Plan

  • 1 Table-Service Meal
  • 1 Quick-Service Meal
  • 1 Snack

Both plans are upgradeable. Value guests can upgrade to the regular dining plan for $10pp per day (adult) and $2pp per day (child). To upgrade from regular to deluxe would be $30pp per day (adult) and $9pp per day (child).

This year you must also purchase a 2-day Magic Your Way base ticket. In past years, only a 1-day ticket was required for each person in your party.  This really only affects passholders looking to get in on the deal, however, tickets are upgradeable to seasonal (Florida residents) or annual passes.

In my experience, free dining is one of the best deals Disney offers saving your family hundreds or even thousands of dollars on food for the length of your stay.

Book through August 14th, 2010
