One of our favorite family Winter destinations is a Great Wolf Lodge property. These magical water park destinations are great fun for your family year round. With new properties recently opened and more on the way, we want to share with you 5 Tips for Visiting a Great Wolf Lodge Property.
The 5 Tips for Visiting a Great Wolf Lodge Property:
1) Let the Children Nap; Coming from my snuggle bunny who does love his naps. We play hard and rest well in our family. Rest is essential with all of this activity and stimulation. Nap in between the water park and Snowland and Magi Quest.
2) When driving to your destination, have the children wear their swim suits and gear in the car under their clothes; This is awesome and
allows them as many minutes in the water park as possible and as quickly as possible. Isn’t that what it’s all about! Really, the Great Wolf Lodge staff is so accommodating, if your room is not ready, they allow you to “check in” and get your water park bands and enjoy! This is golden!
3) Drop off your wife and children at the door and with a travel bag for the water park; get them into the water asap. Dad can stand in line and check in the family, after parking the car, unloading; team work works well here!
4) Safety! Stick with your children. Seems fundamental, yet for some reason there are a lot of children playing Magi Quest solo. Remember safety at home is safety away, stick with your children and enjoy the fun! Also, please remind your child, for posterity, stay on the right side walking down halls and stairways; Right side and no one runs into each other.
5) Properly dress your children; it’s a delicate mix of water park fun and snowland; so dress them appropriately. Remember, the water may be warm but standing in line for the famous Howling Tornado is a chilly wait. As soon as they are out of the water, layer them up for the walk back to the room. Layers work great for indoors.
