Attractions and Rides

The Cat in the Hat – You’ll spin and you’ll swerve this way and that as that red and white hatted cat and his friends Thing One and Thing Two almost bring down the house. With a bump and a thump and an assortment of crashes the mischievious trio make quite a mess of things. You’d better hope they get the house cleaned up before Mother comes home!

Caro-Seuss-el – You’ll find an array of unusual creatures from the imagination of Dr. Seuss on this one-of-a-kind carousel. You can even animate your characters! For the first time ever in a carousel you can pull back on the reins or push the lever on the neck and your mount’s eyes will blink, ears will wiggle, or head will turn. Plus, look high above and you’ll see Horton the Elephant at the very top of the Caro-Seuss-el™, carefully guarding his dandelion. Guests under 48″ must be accompanied by an adult.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish – Dr. Seuss’ delightful children’s book comes to life in this ride that kids (and parents) will love. Climb aboard One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish™ and take the controls as you steer your colorful fish up, up, up and down, down, down. As you fly low and fly high, spinning and swooping around and around you’ll pass an array of fountains that squirt in time to a musical rhyme. Pay attention to the words and do what they say if you don’t want to get wet! Guests under 48″ must be accompanied by an adult.

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride – On this twin-tracked ride you’ll take a gentle journey high above the colorful rides and attractions of Seuss Landing. One track of the trolley even circles around the inside of Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous™ letting you wave at the guests dining below. As you wait to board the trolley you’ll follow the wonderful story of the Sneetches™ featuring Sylvester McMonkey McBean™. One track continues the story of the Sneetches, while the other track gives you the ABC’s of Seuss Landing as you pass overhead. It’s great fun for the whole family. Guests must be at least 34″ tall.

If I Ran the Zoo – This interactive play area recounts the story of Gerald McGrew and his quest to create a totally different zoo of strange and unusual animals from the most remote and exotic places around the world. Turn a crank, spin a wheel, and step on pedals to see a menagerie of bizarre creatures appear from behind the hedges… like a tizzle topped tufted Mazurka (found on the African island of Yerka). You can slide down the tunnels of Zomba-ma-tant, or crawl through a cave in Kartoom and try to catch the beast called a Natch. There’s a wet play area where you can trap beasts (or brothers and sisters) in a cage made of water. You can ride a multi-humped cow, or play a game on the belly of Tic Tac Joe. But beware of the Scraggle Foot Mulligatawny, unless you like getting sneezed on.

  1. My daughter bought a grinch drinking glass at the Mulberry Street Store the summer of ’07. She loved it and it had special meaning b/c the whole family was together. Her sister died in ’09. She just broke the glass and I am trying to find another with no success. I know this may not be the kind of comment this site is for but if anyone knows how I can find another glass please email me. I tried e-bay. Thanks!
