It’s hard to believe that August is already here, which means the beginning of the school year is just around the corner. This summer season in the US sure has flown by, and many of our readers have been making the most of their holidays, and hopefully saving a few dollars with our travel deals.
There’s still time to take that last minute family vacation, or since school is starting, moms may be looking to take a girlfriend getaway to celebrate kids going back to the classroom. I had two teenagers home all summer and trying to keep them entertained was a feat in itself. My husband and I have a few romantic weekends already in the works for this fall.

Las Vegas Hotel Deals – I was browsing around Bing’s travel deals and found two great hotel deals avialable – ARIA Casino & Resort and Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Check out all the Las Vegas hotel deals on Bing.

Breckenridge, CO – Hilton Worldwide and Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) are pleased to announce the signing of a franchise license agreement for a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Breckenridge, Colo. Currently the Great Divide Lodge, the hotel conversion project will proudly open as the DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge in late 2011 following refurbishment and upgrades. It will be the first DoubleTree by Hilton mountain resort hotel located just steps away from the ski lifts in the United States and the 14th DoubleTree by Hilton property in Colorado.
