Mama on the Move: Quebec’s Winter Carnival

by CajunMama

I arrived into Quebec City on Thursday evening to get a taste of Quebec’s Winter Carnival, which is held annually in this 400-year-old city. I have been so busy having fun, that I haven’t had a moment to sit down and write a proper post. Until I have the chance to give you all the facts so that you and your families can plan a winter adventure to Quebec CIty, I thought I’d show you some of the great activities for families, couples, friends, and solo travelers. For more information visit the official Winter Carnival site. If you can’t see the video below, you can see it on the Traveling Mamas YouTube Page.

Shannon Hurst Lane lives in south Louisiana and loves spontaneous road trips with her family or a solo mama getaway. She's the creator of TravelingMamas.com with a mission to inspire moms to get out there and explore our world. Google+

People think I’m crazy and/or lying when I say I really love winter. But clearly, it rules!

Oh wow, loved the video, I would love to live where it snowed for atleast a few months a year, and sunny the rest!!

Hysterical. I’d heard of innertubing and sledding down hills, but never “snow rafting.”

I am chilly just looking at your video. Your Louisiana butt must have been icy cold!

I should have known my fellow Canucks would come up with something briliant like that. :-)

WOW! That looks like so much fun! I am not generally a big fan of winter, but now I think it’s just because I don’t have a giant ice slide!
